Adrian Schindler
Adrian Schindler is Innovation Product Manager with Marlink, the largest technology-independent satellite communication and digital solutions provider serving the maritime market.
Adrian has the important responsibility to identify opportunities and to develop Marlink’s new innovations supporting the digital transformation of the Maritime industry. His role sees him coordinate closely with Marlink development teams, customers and partners to launch disruptive services and solutions.
A key milestone at Marlink has been the launch of XChange Telemed, a telemedicine managed service which has improved the healthcare to thousands of seafarers worldwide and contributed towards accelerating Marlink’s tremendous growth in VSAT.
Adrian’s current project is Marlink’s Cyber Detection Service which monitors cyber threats and intrusions into vessel networks and summarises the fleet security status in a dynamic web dashboard. For this project, Adrian has developed a partnership with a Security Operations Centre (SOC) operator specialised in hunting for sophisticated targeted threats which often pass under the radar of automated, traditional security solutions.
Previously, he worked for Airbus Defence & Space as Business Development Manager on projects related to Aeronautical Connectivity as well as Oil & Gas. Adrian holds a Master of Engineering degree by the Imperial College London and a Diplôme d’Ingénieur by Télécom ParisTech, and is fluent in French, German and English.
